For the second time in as many weeks the Post Graduates were on the receiving end of a forfeit. Christopher Newport University forfeited the game originally scheduled for Sunday September 26th resulting in the win for Hargrave. The Tigers will have an extra week to prepare for a very tough Lackawanna Jr. College team. The Post Graduates are scheduled to leave Chatham in route to Scranton, PA on Friday morning October 1st. Game time is 1:00 PM on Saturday October 2nd.

Fall 2004 PG Football vs. Methodist College JV

Methodist College has forfeited the game to the Hargrave Military Academy Post Graduate Football team. The win brings the Tigers record to 4-0 on the season. The PG's will take the week off and prepare for their September 26th game at Christopher Newport Universtiy. Kick off is scheduled for 2:30.

Spring 2004 Varsity Tennis vs. Heritage HS

May 13, 2004

The Tigers played a tough match against a AA public school who is undefeated in their Lynchburg area conference. Singles winners were J.P. Bonilla and Louis Chevalier. In doubles, J.P. Bonilla and Bridget Borley teamed up for our only doubles win. The Tigers conclude the season Saturday, May 15th at 9:30 A.M. at home in the VIC conference playoffs against Miller School. The winner of our match plays the winner of Eastern Mennonite and North Cross at 1:30 P.M. later in the day. The Tigers go into the playoffs with a 5-1 Conference record.

Spring 2004 Varsity Tennis vs. Martinsville High School

The Tigers clinched the match after winning 5 of the 6 singles and then went on to sweep all 3 doubles. Singles winners were Peter Giordano, J.P. Bonilla, Charles Nelson, Chad Thomas, and Louis Chevalier. In doubles the winners were Giordano/Chevalier, Bonilla/Bridget Borley and Dustin Meeks/Alex Koeman. The Tigers next match is Thursday May 13, 2004 against Heritage in Lynchburg. The Tigers continue to prepare for the VIC Playoffs hosted at Hargrave on May 15, 2004 at 9:30 A.M. Spring 2004 Varsity Tennis vs. Virginia Episcopal School

The Tigers lost in a non-conference match to a strong VES team. The lone singles winner was Louis Chevalier. Charles Nelson and Chad Thomas each went the distance in 3 sets but lost. The Igers will be on the road Wednesday against Martinsville High School

Spring 2004 Varsity Tennis vs. North Cross School

April 28, 2004

The Tigers secured the #1 seed in the VIC South and homecourt advantage for the VIC playoffs (May 15th) by defeating North Cross on the road. Singles winners were J.P. Bonilla, Charles Nelson, & Chad Thomas. The doubles victory to clinch the match came from Charles Nelson and Chad Thomas. Peter Giordano & J.P. Bonilla fell in a close doubles match 8-5. Bridget Borley fell in a close singles match 8-6. The Tigers finish their VIC dual meet record at 5-1 and host non-conference opponent VES at home on Thursday, April 29th.
