Fall 2003 PG Football vs. Lackawanna Jr. College
October 25, 2003
The Hargrave PG Football defeated Lackawanna Jr. College 34 to 9. Cory Holt threw 2 touchdown passes one of 16 yards to Justin Harper, and one of 28 yards to Armand Cauthen. Darrell Blackman, Chris Griggs, and Cory Holt each had rushing touchdowns. The PG defense played an outstanding game being lead by Brian Soi with 3 sacks and DJ Parker with an interception. All the coaches and players did an oustanding job. The PG's next take on Chowan College November 2nd at 1pm at Chowan.
Fall 2003 PG Football vs. Averett University JV

The PG Football team defeated Averett University 60-0. Garrett Parker had an 86 yard touchdown pass to David Martin. Darrell Blackman scored on a pair of runs, and Chris Griggs added another rushing touchdown. Mico McSwain returned a kickoff for a touchdown. Johnathan Hefney returned a punt for a touchdown. DJ Parker returned a blocked punt for a touchdown All the coaches and players did an outstanding job.
Fall 2003 PG Football vs. University of North Carolina JV

The Hargrave PG Football defeated the University of North Carolina JV Team 37 to 27 Sunday in Chapel Hill. Darrell Blackman scored on a pair of touchdown runs of 61 and 59 yards. Armand Cauthen scored on two Cory Holt touchdown passes of 53 and 39 yards. Nathan Parseghian kicked 4 PAT's and 1 field goal from 27 yards. The defense played great with Mico McSwain and Jerry Cummings leading the way each with interceptions. All the players and coaches did an outstanding job. The PG Football team next takes on Averett University on Saturday October 18 at 1pm.

The PG Football Team lost to West Virginia University 41 to 27. The PG Football team next take on the University of North Carolina JV Sunday Oct. 5 at 3:30.

Fall 2003 PG Football vs. Virginia Tech JV

The Hargrave PG Football Team defeated the Virginia Tech Hokies JV Football team 10-0. Justin Harper scored on a 47-yard touchdown pass from Cory Holt in the first quarter. Nathan Parseghian kicked a 20-yard field goal in the second quarter. The PG defense did not allow a touchdown for the third consecutive week.

The PG Football team defeated Bridgewater College 35 to 6. Bridgewater College is currently ranked 13th in Division III football.
Fall 2003 PG Football vs. Ferrum College (Scrimmage)

Hargrave PG Football defeated Ferrum College 21 to 16. Keon Lattimore scored on a 57-yard run. Justin Harper caught a 45-yard touchdown pass. David Martin scored on a 37-yard touchdown pass. The PG's also had two touchdown passes called back. It was a team effort by the coaches and the players. The PG's next opponet is Bridgewater College, Saturday at 1 PM.
