Post Graduate Team picks up 1st win of Season!

Rifle Narrowly Edged In Season Opener

The Varsity Rifle team kicked off it's season by hosting Fishbunre Military School. The Match was extremly close, and after a recount, Hargrave was edged 922-921. The top four shooters included two freshmen and two juniors. The Tigers also had seven shooters tallying more that 200 points.

Varsity Soccer Drops Conference Opener

The Tigers took on a very aggressive LCA team and came out on the short end, losing by a score of 4-0. Hargrave held LCA scoreless until the 28th minute of action when a far-post shot opened their scoring. Although Nii Akwetey was able to put one on frame for a chance at scoring, their goalie was able to make a good save. LCA was able to add one more goal before the half.

The Tigers suffered a setback against the Bulldogs ofLiberty Christian. The team came out strong and motivated, but two errors in the defense gave the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead during the first half. The Tigers managed to contain a very good opponent for the rest of the half by thecombined efforts of the defense and the numerous saves by keeper BlakeHorne.
