Hargrave 100 Essex Community College 86 Hargrave was led by PJ Hairston with 33 points and 5 steals. Robert Brown scored 20 points and had 4 assists. CJ Barksdale scored 20 points and had a team high 13 rebounds. Dez Wells scored 10 points and had 4 rebounds. Hargrave improves to 3-0

Hargrave Cadet PJ Hairston played in the 2011 MacDonald's All-American game on March 30, 2011. A person of great character, Hairston represented Hargrave well during the event.

Hargrave Cadet Craig Ponder heads to UNCW as a Complete Player. “Hargrave prepared me for college,” said Ponder. “I believe that was my freshman year of college being at Hargrave. It taught me a lot about being on time for everything and having your priorities straight.”

The Hargrave wrestling Team had a great weekend finishing 2nd in the VIC Tournament. Of the 14 wrestlers on the squad 12 of them medaled this weekend. Unfortunately LCA was just to strong to overcome in the end.

The Tiger's Wrestling team had a very tough night last night. The JV team won a very close match with wins from Joel Corpening, Jaleel Williams, Login Mitchell, Zach Kempe and Sean Tate.

This past weekend the team traveled to Rustburg for a team dual tournament. The team finished fourth overall against some very good competition.

This year's Tiger Invitational Wrestling Tournament was a great success. We had seven teams represented this year. Your Tigers finished 3rd overall in the team standings.
Varsity Swimming/Diving vs. VIC Swim Meet

We have completed the Varsity Season of Swimming by finishing third in Tuesday's Conference Meet. The Tigers fought hard and led the meet until the final 3 events where we slipped to third.
