XC Starts Season At The Knights Crossing Invitational

September 9, 2019

The Cross Country Team started their season with the Knights Crossing Invitational on Saturday. After only a week of practice the Tigers placed 19th out of 21 schools in the small public high school and all private school division. The overall times were faster than the large school division. Our team would have placed lower but a mishap with the timing chip did not register two of our runners (Jay Thompson & Negatu Syrcle) who would have scored for us. The following Tigers scored in order of finish: Mason Schrage (20:17), Wes Marquardt (20:31), Adian Thomas (22:49), Caleb Chester (24:35), and Ethan Teluk (24:58). Bohong Yang (27:55) rounded out the field for Hargrave.  Great job Tigers!
