Hargrave competed in the VIC Championship on Saturday. The young men performed very well in capturing our 3rd VIC Championship title in a row.

The Tigers improved their season record to 18-3-1 with victories over Roanoke Catholic and George Washington High School on Tuesday. The following Hargrave wrestlers record victories: 103 Philip Johnson, 112 Adam Radan x2, 119 Corey Wilcox, 140 Jared Reutter x2, 145 Wes Shea x2, 152 Jerrit Reed x2, 160 Stephen Smither, 171 Scott Flanagan x2, 189 Andy Holonen x2, 275 Grant Barnes. The Tigers return to the mat on Thursday at VES.

The Tigers improved their dual meet record to 16-3-1 with victories over Lynchburg Christian and Chatham High School on Thursday. The following wrestlers recorded victories: 103 Philip Johnson, 112 Adam Radan x2, 125 Sage Wijesekera, 135 Garrett Torney x2, 140 Jared Reutter x2, 145 Wes Shea x2, 152 Jerrit Reed, 160 Stephen Smither, 171 Scott Flanagan x2, 189 Andy Holonen, 215 Joe Shea, 215 and 275 Michael McHenry. The Tigers return to action on Tuesday at home verses Roanoke Catholic and GWHS, start time is 4:00 PM.
Varsity Rifle Team vs. VMSRL State Competition

The HMA rifle team finished their second consecutive undefeated season and took first place at the state tournament for the second consecutive year as well. There were also nine individual awards presented to HMA shooters.
