JV Soccer vs. Westover Christian Academy

The Tigers won their first game of the season against Westover Christian with a score of 8-0. The Tigers showed great improvement in their game since their last match and completely outplayed the Westover Bulldogs. HMA took a total of 20 shots on goal throughout the match and kept Westover at bay and allowed them to shoot only three times on our goal. The goals were scored by James Burke (3), Theodore Goldean (2), Mansour Azzaz (1), Trey Creekmore (1), and Ashton Berry (1). Eric Park, Mark Barber, Michael Lowstetter, and Will Bartholomew also took several shots on goal but with no luck.

The Tigers had a rough start this season against the Bulldogs of Liberty Christian. With only a couple of formal practice sessions, the Tigers faced a superior opponent and carried the loss with a score of 7-1. The Bulldogs scored five goals in the first half and added two more in the second period. The solo goal of the Tigers came off the cleats of James Burke during the second period.
