Mrs. Candiss McBride

English Faculty

Candiss McBride graduated from Averett University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She also has an endorsement in gifted education. Candiss received her Master’s Degree in School Administration PK-12 from Cambridge College. She spent 19 years teaching in Pittsylvania County. After spending time at Hargrave while her son attended, she gained a strong interest in teaching at Hargrave.

Witnessing these young men evolve as they navigate challenges and embrace their potential is a truly rewarding experience.
